Let me give you a trick to try to beat this kind of scam. This kind of scam depends on credit cards. They usually don't know the difference between a credit and a debit card. I use debit cards all the time when I answer ads on the net. I try to keep a lot of different debit cards in a lot of banks, each one with only a small amount of money.

If I buy for the first time, I use a debit card with only a small amount of money in it. That way, if the scam company wants to charge me for a second month etc there is no longer any money in the account! They can't scam me because the card I used for the first payment doesn't have enough left over for the second etc payment.

Do not do this to avoid legitimate obligations. I do not want to cheat honest merchants. I just want to protect myself against scamsters.
