Free Keyword Tools - Google and WordTracker
Yes there are some great "free" tools. I use Google's Free Keyword tool all the time! But it only shows "Trends" and not real numbers. So if you are researching "long tail keywords" you may use the Google Tool and think you have discovered a great trend. Because you see a high search volume bar. But what is high search volume for one keyword is next to nothing for another. You need to know how many people actually are searching for a keyword phrase so you don't waste your time in markets that simply do not have enough traffic.
The Word Tracker keyword tool is another great tool to get you basic information. But the limitation here is there simply is not enough detail in the amount of results you can query for free. So you have to decide whether to join or not. And yes for many people I believe a subscription to Word Tracker can be a good investment. Unfortunately Word Tracker does not pull from Google's Database which means you miss out on 60% or more of the keyword information most people are using to search.
So what can Keyword Elite do for You?
What Keyword Elite will do for you better than any Free tool is SAVE YOU TIME. Time you can spend creating and marketing instead of "digging". Pull Keywords from Overture, Google, Yahoo, and Ask! Yes Keyword Elite will auto generate Adsense Pages based on templates. I don't recommend Made For Adsense sites, but what you do is your own business.
